Teacher Training

Program Objectives

The Teacher Training Program is a 600+ hour program that will encompass seminars and training. The seminars are divided into five weekend seminars (weekends may be three – four days depending on enrollment) from the Beginner through the Advanced Systems (a System being an outline of exercises at a certain level that can be joined or interwoven together to create a lesson) through developing lessons and teaching. Seminars must be attended consecutively.

Join our teacher education program in pure classical Pilates method. Upon completion you will receive a Teacher Trainer Education Certificate through Dana Santi Pilates.

Required Seminars

1st weekend – Beginner Systems (January 12-15, 2017 )   2nd weekend – Intermediate Systems (March 9-12, 2017)    3rd weekend – Advanced Systems (April 20-23, 2017)  4th weekend – Review and Teaching (May 18-21, 2017)    5th weekend – Teaching (June 15-17, 2017)


Hours consist of seminars, self-practice, homework, specific online-practice, lessons, classes, meetings, observation, assisting, practice teaching, teaching and pre-approved workshops. The training is under Dana Santi and Dana Santi Pilates Studio. Upon successful completion of the lessons, seminars, hours, exams and training requirements; students will receive a Teacher Training Certificate through Dana Santi Pilates Studio.

A Bridge Program is offered to instructors looking to sharpen their teaching skills or perhaps study a different method of practice. Teachers should already be trained in a program that was at least 500 hours and covered all the apparatus.
